Linwood grew up in Arlington MA before moving to Erie. He served in the Marine Corps. Linwood was a self employed truck driver. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah (Glawson) Newman in 2021, a sister, Marianne L. Biagioni and his brother, David Newman.
Survivors include his children, Guy Newman, Robert Newman and Michelle Duffey, his siblings, Catherine A. Barry, John Newman and his wife Darlene and his stepsister, Janelle Newman Bennett. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
May he rest in peace. Memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th St. Erie, PA. 16511. No calling hours will be observed. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Ave. Branch, 845 East 38th St. handled arrangements.
