Linzie Murle Morse, 78, of Sulphur, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, surrounded by his family. Linzie was born on August 8, 1946, and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. He loved to restore old cars and going to Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona. Linzie liked to deep sea fish with friends and family and go hunting on his deer leases in West Texas. He is a graduate of Sulphur High School. Linzie was a business owner of Industrial Fab Shop and Linzco Trailers located in Sulphur. He truly was a jack of all trades.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Angela Morse; sons, Chuck Morse (Angie), Chad Morse (Meghan); grandchildren, Benjamin, Samantha, Stephanie, Korey, Lindsay, Hayley, Ariel, Brooks, Tristan, Tyler, Mason, and Shelbie; 19 great grandchildren; and his beloved pet, Emitt.
Linzie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 30 years, Cynthia Ebine Morse; father, Lee Murle "Pete" Morse; mother, Emma B. Broussard Morse; brothers, Kenneth Howell Sr., Glenn Howell; sons, Joseph Lee Morse, Toney "T-Mo" Morse; his beloved dogs, Tika, Angel, and Nikki.
The family would like to thank the hospice care from Amedisys, for caring for our father.
Funeral services for Linzie will be at 10 AM, Saturday, December 21 ,2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur, burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur, from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8 AM until time of service.
