Lionel Fields

Lionel Fields, Sr., 93, of Candor, NY passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Hunlock Creek, PA. Lionel was predeceased by his first wife, Martha Fields. He is survived by his current wife. Oreal Fields; eight children, Lionel, Jr. and Julie Fields, Keith Fields and Kristy Cimilluca, Leonard Fields and Jessica Russell, Lois Hammond, Shirley Smullen, Derek, Troy and Glenn Richards; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins from New Roads, Louisiana. Lionel retired from the Town of Candor Highway Department. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing and time with his family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Monumental Baptist Church, 1009 Maple Avenue, Elmira, NY.
