Lionel Ross, Jr. entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Kenner on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the age of 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Lionel was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System. He was employed for over 40 years in the hospitality industry. Lionel was a loyal friend to many and will be dearly missed. Loving father of Brittney Ross, Whitney Ross, Ieshia Ross, and Lance Taylor. Devoted son of Gloria Ross, and the late Lionel Ross, Sr. Grandson of the late Willie and Eliza Santiago, Jake and Irene McGinnis. Brother of Sheba Ross, Corey Ross, Taurus Ross, Torres Ross, and Keyron Ross. Lionel is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:00 am. Pastor Cornell Sisler officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30am. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: Will be private.
