With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Lisa Joy Clark, who left this world peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1957, in
Stamford, Connecticut, Lisa truly embodied the spirit of the season-bringing warmth, kindness, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Lisa's love for life began early. As a child, she spent countless hours outdoors, camping with her parents and developing a lifelong appreciation for nature. During her high school years, she found joy and connection as a member of the women's choir, where her love of music flourished and friendships were formed that she treasured.
She went on to attend Bethany College in West Virginia, where she proudly earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics. Lisa built a fulfilling career in customer service, known for her patience, warmth, and genuine care for others-qualities that defined her both professionally and personally-before retiring after many years of dedicated work.
Creativity and curiosity filled Lisa's days. She was a passionate crafter, especially enjoying needlepoint and other artistic pursuits, and she was an avid reader who found comfort, inspiration, and adventure within the pages of her books. Yet, above all else, family was the center of Lisa's world.
She cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially the annual family beach vacations to St. Augustine, Florida-sun-soaked days filled with laughter, togetherness, and memories that will be forever held close. Though she never played sports herself, Lisa became an enthusiastic and devoted soccer fan, proudly cheering on her children and grandchildren from the sidelines with unwavering love and support.
Lisa was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Clark Jr.; her devoted daughters and son-in-laws, Heather and Jorge Duque and Brittany and Shaun Gann; her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Samantha Clark; her cherished grandchildren, Julian Duque, Sophia Duque, and Scarlet Clark; her beloved mother, Diana Ayer Carlson; and her sister, Dawn Maiorano. Each of them carries a piece of Lisa's heart and will forever remember her for her kindness, generosity, gentle spirit, and unwavering love.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Harry Frederick Carlson.
In honor of Lisa's life and legacy, a Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory with Rev. Harold Savage officiating. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather at 11:00 am for the service, followed by a reception at 12:00 pm, where stories will be shared and her life lovingly celebrated.
As we remember Lisa Joy Clark, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, creativity, and devotion to family. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit, warmth, and love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
