Lisa A. Colson, 58, of Easton, PA, formerly of Newark, NJ, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, in St. Luke's Hospital-Warren Campus.
Born June 26, 1966, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of William Crudup, of Roxboro, NC, and the late Lucille (Royster) Crudup.
Her husband of 25 years, Morris Colson, passed away March 12, 2009.
Lisa graduated from Vailsburg High School, Newark, NJ.
She was last employed by Merck, Edison, NJ. Previously, she worked for Verizon, Irvington, NJ.
Lisa loved her family and was a very loving, kind and giving person. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and helping others.
In addition to her father, William, she is survived by two daughters, Jasmine Colson and her companion Christopher Johnson, of Easton, and Jetta Colson and her companion Jeron Williams, of Allentown; two brothers, William Royster and his wife Sonya, of Bloomfield, NJ, and Michael Crudup, of Allentown; three sisters, Glendaria Crudup, of Wilson Borough, Teresa Tennet, of Rahway, NJ, and Deborah Rorex and her husband Tony, of Austell, GA; a grandson, Jaylyn Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Lucille, she was predeceased by a brother, Derrick Crudup, and a sister, Tracy Crudup.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 3rd, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Tuesday 10-11am in the funeral home. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
