Con Ngoc Tran, 76, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Binh Dinh, Vietnam, on April 2, 1948, to Con Tran and Xa Pham, Con was a devoted husband to Than Tu, a proud father of four, and a doting grandfather to four grandchildren.
In his early years, he worked as a fisherman and served in the military in Vietnam. Upon coming to the United States, he worked as a line operator at McGinley Mills.
Known for his generous spirit and unwavering support, Con was deeply committed to his family. He made tremendous sacrifices to bring his loved ones to the United States, ensuring a brighter future for his children. His legacy of kindness and love will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
Con will be forever cherished and missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, and many friends, whose lives he touched with his compassion and warmth. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Than Tu; four children, Thuy (Phuong) Nguyen of Hanover Township, PA, Nguyen (Jenny) Tran of Lawrenceville, NJ, and Lieu (Thomas) Jones of South Whitehall, PA; four grandchildren, Miranda Nguyen, Ethan Nguyen, Maggie Tran, and Vanessa Tran; his two brothers, Khai and Cam; five sisters Be, Ngoc, Se, Xieng and Nang. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Binh Tran and his sister, Le.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Con Tran will be held at 10am Saturday, November 30, 2024, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Visitation Saturday 9-10am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the family, c/o the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, PA 18042.
