Lisa Ann DiBella (nee - Wilmarth), a resident of Horsham, PA, peacefully departed this world on February 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home, concluding a courageous and arduous battle against cancer. Born on December 23, 1965, in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia to the late James and Roberta Wilmarth (nee - Griffith), Lisa was the cherished wife of James DiBella, Sr., sharing 34 years of marriage. Lisa is survived by her three children, James DiBella Jr., Michael DiBella and his wife Katelyn (nee - Nicklow), and daughter Ashley DiBella. Preceded in death by her sister Diane Wilmarth, Lisa is survived by sister Elaine Wilmarth-Loweree and her children, Elizabeth and Shawn Loweree, as well as brother James Wilmarth and his wife, Lois (nee - Breon). She is also the sister-in-law of Lisa DiBella-Vargo and husband Jacob Vargo. Lisa leaves behind a loving extended family and numerous friends.
Lisa was raised and educated in Horsham PA. Throughout her professional years, she served as a paraprofessional, discovering a profound passion of working with children with autism in the local school district. This commitment remained a source of joy for Lisa, even during the challenges of her treatments. In her down time, Lisa enjoyed spending quality time on the beaches of Brigantine, NJ, surrounded by family and friends.
Above all, Lisa's greatest passion was being a devoted mother to her three beautiful and accomplished children. Renowned for her unwavering support and advocacy, she earned the endearing title of "Momma Bear."
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lisa's life on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until her Funeral Mass begins at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. Interment will take place at a later date.

I will always remember Aunt Lisa as being a kind and loving caretaker in my family, including of me when I was young. She was a sweetheart, but what surprised me in recent years was her resolve. People don't usually think of the two being entwined, the compassion and the determination, but clearly Lisa showed both!
