Lisa Taylor Dillon

Lisa Taylor Dillon, 60, of Beebe, Ark., passed away on May 16, 2024, in Little Rock, Ark. Lisa was born on Aug. 21, 1963, to Roy Dale "Sam" and Mary "Jane" Taylor in Searcy, Ark.

After Lisa graduated from Beebe High School, she went on to become a registered nurse. Later, she became a flight nurse for Med-Flight, where she loved the adrenaline rush. After that, she settled down with seeing patients as an APRN. Caring for her patients was her passion. She always believed that everyone, no matter where they came from, deserved to have quality health care. She had a servant's heart and her favorite phrase was "Least, Lost and Forgotten" because everyone deserves proper treatment and grace. Lisa was one of the best in her field and was highly respected. She impacted so many lives throughout her career.

Although Lisa loved her career, she always put her family first. Her two children, Taylor and Colton, were her two most treasured accomplishments. She always enjoyed being at the softball fields with Taylor and spending time with Colton. Lisa never missed an opportunity to call or text her children. She was always making sure that they had everything that they needed. Besides her own children, she loved being "Auntie Lisa" to Emma Pacheco. It was "Auntie Lisa" and Emma against the world when they were together. The love that she had for her loved ones was undeniable.

Later in life, Lisa met and married James Turner. These two shared a love for fishing. If you knew Lisa, there was always a fishing pole nearby. It didn't matter if the fish were biting or not, she was just happy to be there. She always talked about how her and her daddy would stop on the side of the road and fish because there "might" be fish there. Despite all of her health issues, her love of fishing never faded. From the Arkansas River to the Gulf of Mexico, she made James take her everywhere she could think of to go fishing. These were some of her fondest memories.

When Lisa could no longer work, she poured her heart and soul into the youth at church, charity work and her women's conferences. She gained so many friends throughout the years. She would talk about how much she loved her church family and always looked forward to seeing them every week. She never tired of coming up with projects and ideas for the churches. This usually resulted in her mom having to lend a helping hand. She loved Jesus and knew he would be waiting for her.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Roy Dale "Sam" Taylor. Lisa is survived by her mother, Mary "Jane" Taylor; husband, James Turner; daughter, Taylor Dillon-Carney (Matt); and son, Colton Dillon. Also, left to cherish her memory is her sweet Emma Pacheco. Her legacy will live on through all of the lives that she has touched.

Visitation was held Sunday, May 19, 2024, at McEuen Funeral Home with service that followed. Burial was at Garner Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
