Lisa was born in Elkin, NC, October 29, 1960 the daughter of Sam and Annie Allison Foster. She graduated from Elkin High School and from Central Piedmont College and was a Dental Assistant for many years.
Surviving are: Her Mother, Ann Foster of Elkin
One Sister: Allison Edwards and husband Joe. of Raleigh
Numerous Cousins
Lisa was happiest when entertaining her friends and neighbors.
The family wishes to thank her neighborhood for all the love and support shown to Lisa during her illness...
There will be a private family gathering at a later date..
The family suggests that any memorials be directed to Elkin First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 69, Elkin, N C. 28621 or to Boston Terrier Rescue NC, 5403 Forest Oaks Drive, Greensboro, NC 27406.
John Kennedy , Funeral Director is assisting the Foster Family with Funeral Arrangements.

Foster was a wonderful friend to my sister in law Laura Weatherman. They have been best friends since high school. There are stories to be told from 4 daring friends back in the day. Lisa was always fun to be around and personally I admired her independent spirit. She worked hard and lived life as she wanted. She will be greatly missed. This is a photo taken with Laura 2015.

My precious friend. So many beautiful memories I have to cherish of us. You were like a Sister not just a friend. These last couple of years we went through a lot together. You were so brave and strong! You taught me so much in our life together. I'll miss you for the rest of my life. Heaven smiles bright with you in it. Run free my Sister. I'll see you again. I now have another guardian Angel. I'll never forget you. I love you.

I will never forget all the great times we had! Your friendship will be sorely missed! I miss the good ole days hanging watching bands and chilling by your pool. You were the hostess with the mostess and an excellent cook. Rest in peace girlfriend! Love for you will always be in my heart! Here is a poem in your memory....
The music played, the laughter soared, by the poolside hearts were restored. You welcomed all with warmth and grace, a shining light, a peaceful place. The bands we watched, the nights we danced, in every moment, joy enhanced. Your kitchen filled with love and spice, each meal a gift, each word so nice. You were the hostess, kind and true, a friend whose soul forever flew. Though you rest, your spirit stays, in golden sun and gentle haze. I'll miss the chats, the carefree days, the way you lit our lives ablaze. But in my heart, you'll always be-a cherished soul and memory. Rest in peace, my girlfriend dear, your love remains forever near.
