Deborah Lee Day 76 of Elkin died Monday, February 23, 2026 at her residence. Born September 1st, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Earl Carlton Day and Lucy Burchette Day. A graduate of Elkin High School class of 1967 where she was a cheerleader. She retired from Farm Credit. She had a love for art in particular, singing, painting, knitting and crochet.
A son, Jim Logan and wife Shelly of North Wilkesboro: a sister, Ann Foster and husband Sam of Sparta; three grandchildren, Brewer Logan and wife Katie of North Wilkesboro, Abram Logan and wife Ashley of Elkin and Joah Logan and wife Courtney of Jonesville and four great grandchildren survive her.
Her parents, Earl Carlton Day and Lucy Burchette Day, preceded her in death.
A private ceremony is being planned by the family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel Branch Church of Christ, 4662 Elkin Highway 268, N. Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
