Lisa Renee Hanus was born May 7, 1962, in Jackson County, TN and passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at her residence in Baxter, TN surrounded by her family.
Lisa was the daughter of William "Willis" West and Lucy Young. She worked several years with the United States Postal Service as a carrier. Lisa had a love for bowling. Over the years, she has played with different leagues in Cookeville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather: Paul Clegg; brothers: Lester West and Mitchel West.
Survivors include sons: Ryan (Alyssa) Hanus of Murfreesboro, TN, Brandon (Kristin Cowan) Hanus of Baxter, TN, and Bryan Hanus of Seekonk, MA; daughter: Breanna (Austin Thompson) Hanus of Old Hickory, TN; brothers: William (Beverly) West of Cookeville, TN and Danny Jo West of Baxter, TN; grandchildren: Ella Hanus, Evangeline Hanus, River Hanus, and Allyrae Hanus. Several other relatives and friends survive.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 11 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Stockton officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Hill Flatt Cemetery.
