Lisa Ann Heggie was born to Earl Alphonzo Heggie Sr. and Barbara Jean Heggie on November 28th of 1962.
Lisa attended school in the Kansas City Kansas school district. She got her GED from the Kansas City Kansas Board of Education and went on to Wright Business School.
She worked at Paul Bunyon’s, KC Salad, and a janitorial service over the years.
Lisa enjoyed playing basketball, roller skating, playing spades, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Sr. and Barbara Heggie.
Lisa departed this life on June 5, 2025, at KU Medical Center due to natural causes.
She leaves to mourn her, one sister, Diane Griffin of North Carolina; four brothers, Gerald Heggie of North Carolina, George Cannon of KCK, Earl Heggie Jr. of KCK, Milton Heggie of KCMO, and Rodney Cooper of Wichita, KS; three children, Daneasha Davis (Alonzo Davis, Son-in-Law), Maurice Conner of Dallas, TX, and Lashonda Conner of KCK; 20 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends who loved her dearly.
A funeral service will be held June 26, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC, 2800 E. 18th St. Kansas City, MO 64127. The visitation will begin at 2:00pm, the service will follow at 3:00pm.
