Lisa Ann Hiler, 56, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She was born on August 29, 1969, to the late Edward Millard Purvis Sr. and Alberta Ruth Drabing Purvis. Lisa led a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family, friends and her beloved cats.

Lisa was known for her deep affection for her cats, and her unwavering patriotism, which reflected her strong values and love for her country. She dedicated her life to her family, relishing in the moments spent together, whether gathering for celebrations or enjoying the tranquility of being outdoors. Music was another passion of hers, often providing the backdrop for cherished family times.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Wayne Purvis Jent, as well as three brothers, Gary Purvis, Kenny Purvis, and Johnny Miller.

She is survived by her son, Russell Edward Hiler; step-daughter, Elizabeth Hiler, her two sisters, Cheryl Fields and Laura Purvis; and her brother, Eddie Purvis (Cindy), all of Owingsville. Lisa took immense pride in her extended family, which includes her beloved nieces and nephews: Jason Purvis, Adam Purvis, Kim Draper, Kerri Sparks, Tina Lucas, Jared Purvis, Karina Brashear, Zachary Purvis, Monica Handy, Scotty Hatton, Alicia Martin, and Amanda Maze. Survivors also include special friends, Billy Coyle and Marjorie Matter. 

There will be a celebration of life for Lisa at a later date.
