Lisa Marie Hilsabeck

Lisa Marie Hilsabeck, 56, of Watersmeet, MI entered eternal rest on Monday, January 12, 2026 at her home.

Lisa was born on November 4, 1969 at Northwoods Hospital in Phelps, WI. She is survived by her son, Ian Stenback of Watersmeet, MI; two sisters, Sandra (Poncho) Robinson of Eagle River, WI and Vicki Hilsabeck of Corpus Christi, TX; two nieces, Carissa (Nick) Dolezal of Eagle River, WI and Tara (Ryan) Korslin of Green Bay, WI; two nephews, Kyle (Callie) Robinson of Lake Nebagamon, WI and Patrick Dowling of Marquette, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Patricia (NEE Wasson) Hilsabec, sister Terri Hilsabeck, maternal grandparents Clarence and Josephine Wasson, uncle

Clarence Wasson as well as numerous other aunts and uncles.

Lisa discovered her passion as a server through generations (mother and grandmother) of servers making connections with customers who became her friends. Among other establishments, she worked many years at Redman Supper Club in Land O Lakes, WI, she later moved on to H & R Block in Eagle River, WI, Nordine's Plaza and then Lac Vieux Desert Auditing Dept. both of Watersmeet, MI.

Lisa faced significant medical and physical health issues, struggling most days. Much heartfelt appreciation goes out to every person who reached out to her, provided transportation, assisted her day-to-day or donated food or other essentials, including, but not limited to her dear friends Lisa (Mehlenbacher) Kania and April (Rich) Laundervill, the Verk Family, Nordine's Plaza (now LVD Plaza) and a few of the kind, caring folks at LVD.

In lieu of a Celebration of Life, the family encourages a donation to anyone you know who is struggling, or to a cause that is dedicated to the treatment, awareness and assistance to those suffering from mental illness.
