Lisa Diane Hobart May 18, 1961 – June 26, 2024
Lisa was born, and so in her passing, a radiant, brilliant gale of creativity, imagination, appreciation and dignity with infinite particles of love and hope for all swirling through that beautiful storm. She took solace in knowing these attributes were not physical and could never be taken away.
Lisa is pre-deceased by her beloved mother, Carol Jean Jacobberger-Hobart.
She is survived in sorrow by her lifetime partner, Christopher Sheehan of Dedham, MA and her father, Max Hobart. She leaves her sisters Deborah Ramrath and her husband Joseph and Cheryl Umana and her husband Michael; four nieces, one nephew and the countless friends who banded together to shower her with love and support especially through the last several difficult years.
Eternal gratitude goes to the hundreds at Brigham and Women's Hospital on Francis St. who were tireless in their efforts to provide her with the diligent virtue and care of a family member of her own through the last two years. Please forward any donations on her and Christopher's behalf to this wonderful institution. Brigham and Women's Hospital, Development Office, 263 Huntington Avenue, #318, Boston, MA 02115-4506
Please join us for a Funeral Mass at her church of baptism, Holy Name Parish, 1689 Centre St., West Roxbury, MA 02132, on Saturday, July 20th at 10:00am
Family and friends are welcome to join us after the Funeral Mass at The Corrib Restaurant, 2030 Centre St., West Roxbury, MA 02132.

Dear Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of your passing. I do understand the last few years were very difficult for you.

While I didn't know you all too well, I have an outstanding memory of 8th grade when I ended up with a pencil engraved with "stolen from Lisa Hobart". It's obvious you had a cheeky, fun sense of humour.

The pencil was the perfect opportunity to meet you as I always thought you were quite lovely.

We had a few classes together and worked together at Roche Bros. I always enjoyed our conversations.

Rest easy - Heaven has gained a new angel

Rest in peace sweet Lisa. I first met you at a Leeds party that many of our Needham friends attended. You were happy and friendly and we got to know each other. I am so sorry for all that you had to go through these last several years and I deeply enjoyed our brief friendship. You are an angel in heaven dear friend.

Rest in peace, Lisa. We had good times in NYC with the band exchange, walking home from school, a party I remember us laughing at- bumping into doors. My brother also has fond memories of being at your house with your sister, and seeing you. Condolences to your family. Keep your star shining on us. Pam Koss-Van Atta

My first memory of Lisa was watching her walk by my house at 19 Mt. Vernon Ave in Needham. We were both early teens. I thought that Lisa had the most beautiful hair I had ever seen. Soon we started chatting and became instant friends. We both loved little glass animals and collected many together. We also shared an affinity for Elton John and would listen to "Good Bye Yellow Brick Road"...over and over again. I remember Lisa and me dancing around in her bedroom. I will always cherish these moments with Lisa. I have no doubt that Lisa continues to dance and sing. Sending love and peace to Lisa's family and all who cared for her.
