I was so sad to hear of Lisa´s passing! I´ve known Lisa since we were playmates in primary school. We grew apart a bit in high school as our interests diverged, but we re-established our friendship again working together in a law office in Basking Ridge in our 20s, before I moved to Australia. She was fun & sassy, kind & generous. Many years later she helped my mother continue to attend Women Who Write after mom had to give up driving, and we caught up when I visited from abroad. Due to Covid I haven´t been in NJ the last few years, but I´m glad we kept in touch via Facebook, where she was always willing to dive into a political discussion. Lisa was a lovely lady who will be sorely missed.

Lisa and I met when I was a challenger at the polls. She was, from the beginning, warm, knowledgeable, inviting, and a great help to me. Her ready laugh and warmth personality always made me feel right at home in her presence and her support over the years meant a great deal to me. May God bless and comfort you Lee, Candace and Cassandra. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
