Lisa Darlene Howard, a beloved homemaker, was born on October 28, 1973, in Commerce, Georgia. She departed this life on August 14, 2025, in her hometown, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Throughout her life, Lisa embraced the role of a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Robert Thomas Howard, and their three children: Kimberly, Justin, and Brandon. Lisa's nurturing spirit was evident not only in her immediate family but also in her relationships with her siblings, including Patricia Gerald, Marie Culver, and her brothers Herman, Pete, Roger, Melvin, Buster, and Edward Brock. The warmth of her heart extended to her nine grandchildren, who will forever cherish the moments spent with their grandmother. Additionally, Lisa is remembered fondly by a number of nieces and nephews who held her dear.
Lisa's life was deeply rooted in her family, a bond she nurtured through her homemaking career, where she created a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ethelene Kitchens Brock, her sister Sally Collins, and her brother Robert Lee Brock, who now embrace her with open arms.
The community is invited to pay their respects and celebrate Lisa's life during the visitation on August 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, Georgia. A funeral service will take place the following day, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Burial will follow in Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery
Lisa Darlene Howard will be remembered as a devoted family member whose love and care enriched the lives of many. May her spirit continue to inspire those she has left behind, as they carry forward her legacy of kindness and devotion.
