Lisa Jane Jackson, 64, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2025, at Owensboro Regional Health Hospital.
Born December 3, 1960, in Columbus, Indiana, Lisa was the daughter of the late Jack and Billie Mayhugh. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. Lisa shared sixteen wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, the late Donald Ray Jackson, Sr. Together, they created a lifetime of memories - from joyful motorcycle rides to evenings spent with friends at the Amvets.
Lisa found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved putting together jigsaw puzzles, watching her favorite television shows, and spending time with her husband on his motorcycle. Her laughter, kindness, and down-to-earth spirit touched everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Jackson, Sr., and her sister, Karen Sutherland.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Lindsay Albright, Tyler (Brianna) Albright, Donald (LaDonna) Jackson, Jr., and Misty Jackson; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Susan Mills, Patti Larson, and Linda Mayhugh; brother Kevin Mayhugh; brother-in-law Gary Sutherland; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at McFarland Funeral Home, 1001 W. 5th St., Owensboro, KY, with tributes offered at 4:30 p.m.
