Lisa Katsue Lunasco, 52, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She accepted her illness with the grace of a martyr and lived life to the fullest a day at a time with the privilege that the Lord gave her. Known for her generous heart and unwavering strength, Lisa lived each day with grace, purpose, and deep love for her family and friends.
Originally from Hawai'i, Lisa moved to Washington in 2000 and worked at the University of Washington in Human Resources until her long term leave in 2024. She was deeply respected for her compassion, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond for others.
Above all, Lisa's legacy lives on through the love she poured into her family. She is survived by her loving mother, Gerri Uyesugi, and is now reunited in peace with her father, Howard. Lisa leaves behind her devoted husband of 24 years, Lenny; her daughters, Kelsy and Karly; her brother Brian (Brita); her sister Jody (Brian); and her nieces and nephews Cody (Megumi)-Kaizen, Anthony, Jasmin, and Brin.
A celebration of life will be held on October 25, 2025, at St. Michael's Church in Waialua.
