Lisa Marie Sollazzo Guarente

Lisa Marie Sollazzo Guarente, 59, of Norwalk, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwalk on March 21, 1964, she was the daughter of Ginger Maisano Sollazzo and the late Paul Sollazzo.
Lisa was the loving wife of Gary Guarente, her best friend, and her rock. Very early-on, Gary caught Lisa's eye working at the Arrow restaurant. The spark was reignited many years later working together at Sono Seaport Seafood; which continued their love for food in helping to run the family business at Chatham Manor. Lisa and Gary, each raised two children of their own, binding together their beautiful families with one last child together.
To know Lisa was to love her. She lit up any room she walked into and was the sunshine on a rainy day. Lisa loved her family and always opened up her heart, arms, and kitchen to everyone. Her house was a revolving door of people coming in and out to enjoy her company and her amazing food. Some of our fondest memories were conversations at the dinner table, on the sideline coaching her girls, and cheering her boys on. Lisa loved her long walks, days at the beaches and her precious dogs.
In addition to her husband, parents, and siblings, Lisa is survived by her son Michael Guarente and wife Luz, daughter Jessica Guarente, daughter Jessica Wilchfort and her husband William, son John Andresen and wife Jennifer, son Ty Guarente and eight combined grandchildren.
A celebration of Lisa's life will be held on Friday, July 7, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 8, at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT.If you are unable to attend, a Zoom link will be provided. May she be dancing without a care and may her soul rest in eternal peace.
