Bath, Maine - Lisa Adele Martin Bailey, age 58, of Bath, Maine, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Lisa was a beloved Bath community member, treasured by family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and loved ones.
Lisa is predeceased by her father, Maurice Martin, and a dear friend, Judy Monahan. She is survived by her mother, Violet Martin of Rockport, her stepson, Christopher Bailey of Bath, her sisters, Dawn Rasmussen of Union, Debbie & Terry Sheerer of Brunswick, Denise & Michael Jones of Rockport, Angela & Glenn Sabins of Union and her brother Maurice "Bud" & wife Sarah Martin of Starks, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, dear friends, neighbors, as well as her beloved dog, Buzz.
Lisa grew up in Warren, Maine, before moving to Bath and working at The Starlight Cafe, Sarah's Cafe, Midcoast Pizza and More, and at The Plant Memorial Home. Lisa volunteered on Thanksgiving for several years, serving meals to those in need. She truly cared for others every day of her life. Lisa loved animals, birds, cooking, nature, flowers, and spending time with family. Lisa had an especially deep bond with her daughter, Jennie.
There will be a celebration of Life at the Bath Area Senior Center on the afternoon of November 3, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with family at a later date.
