Lisa McCurry

Fort Mill, SC - Mrs. Lisa Coley McCurry, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Atrium Health Main.

The family will receive friends at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Whitesell Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, Fort Mill, SC.

A native of Indian Land, SC and was a daughter of the late Hoyle Price Coley and Jewell Bernice Russ Coley. When she was in high school she was very athletic playing softball and basketball. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was known as Mamma Lisa to many children over the years. One of her favorite things to do was spoil her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne McCurry of 45 years; three sons, Rickey McCurry and his wife Mandy, Brett McCurry, and Kyle McCurry and his wife, Chrissy; a daughter, Angie McCurry; a brother, Ray Coley; a sister, Lela Foster; 9 grandchildren, Harli-Kay McCurry, Jenna McCurry, Haley McCurry, Riley McCurry, Brooklyn McCurry, Damon Ferrari, Carson McCurry, Jayden Chapman, and Addison Chapman. She is also survived by her loving dog, Mary. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Coley and Rickey Coley; a sister, Juanita Miller; and a grandson, Steven Chapman.
