Lisa Stockton Munger, age 62, of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025. Lisa was born on April 15, 1963, in Thomasville, North Carolina, to the late Harold and LuAnne (Queen) Stockton.
Lisa grew up in Franklin, NC and spent much of her career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she cared deeply for others. Artistically gifted, Lisa had a passion for painting, sketching, and all things creative. In her free time, she especially enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her daughter, Jamie Munger; her sister, Tammy Gibson; nephew Travis (Colleen) Gibson; great-nieces Maridith, McKenzie, and Mallory Gibson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Franklin, NC.Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating.
