Lisa Anne Neese, age 60, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025.
Born on July 1, 1965, she spent her childhood living in Glenrock and graduated from Glenrock High School in 1983. Lisa lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family. She was the beloved mother of Sean (Amber) Johnson and Rachel Neese. She cherished her role as grandmother to Sean and Amber’s children, Kaden and Katelynn, and to Rachel’s children, Tristan, Parker, Silas, Ronin, Vada, Roaryk, and Lyra.
Lisa shared her life’s journey with Ed Johnson, Sean’s father, and later married Tim Neese, Rachel’s father. Though paths changed, the love she carried for her children and grandchildren never wavered.
She spent much of her career in bookkeeping, caregiving, and homemaking, always giving her time and talents to others. Known for her kind spirit, Lisa loved spending time with her friends, enjoying laughter, conversation, and the simple joys of life. More than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest source of pride and happiness.
Lisa was the treasured daughter of Jerry Leggett and Paula Buck, who remained very close to her throughout her life.
Lisa is survived by her beloved children - Sean (Amber) Johnson and Rachel Neese. Her sister Patty Leggett and nine grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Lisa passed from this life at peace and with God, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now in Heaven, embraced by eternal love.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at a later date.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, joyful spirit, and the deep love she shared with all who knew her.
