Funeral services for Lisa M. Osier, age 61, of Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Wednesday, 24, 2024, at 2:00PM at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. Laurena Wickham Will officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the time of the services at Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Osier passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa is survived by her husband, George Osier of Ogdensburg, NY; her son, Alexander Osier of Ogdensburg, NY; and a sister, Shelly Elliott and her husband, Rob, of Hillsborough, NJ. Lisa is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Sylvia McCarthy.
Lisa was born on September 18, 1962, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of the late Dick and Ann (Martin) McCarthy. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. Lisa married George Osier on December 19, 1986, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogdensburg. She was employed at the Ogdensburg Public Library prior to retirement due to illness.
Lisa, a beloved soul, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and creativity. Known for her passion for crocheting, cross stitching, and delving into the depths of genealogy, Lisa found solace in the pages of books and the threads of her craft. Yet, her true joy was found in the embrace of her family, whom she cherished above all else. Lisa's memory will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of sharing in her love and light.
