Burial will follow at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
Lisa Ann Persad, 60, of Kingston died Sunday August 18, 2024 at HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus. Born July 12, 1964 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Esperanza Melendez and the late Jesus Vegerano.
Lisa owned and operated Lisa's Little Stars Daycare.
Lisa is survived by her husband Kumar Persad; her children Natalie Persad (Anthony Zeno), Kumar Persad Jr. (Ronneisha Brodhead) and Nadia Persad, Gerald Malia. Siblings Lillian Garcia, Albert Vegerano, Elizabeth Garcia, Jesus Lopez, Nolberto Lopez, Marcus Lopez, Cindy Lopez, Sam Rivera, Michelle Rivera, Gina Vegerano and Sara Vegerano. Grandchildren Jazzon Foster, Valencia Zeno, Alessandra Zeno, Kiarah Persad, Jahier Persad, Camryn Lemon, Jeremiah Lemon, Kiyah Bullock, Jaylen Weiss and Brooklyn Persad. "In love Kayla Bullock and in love Jeremy Weiss". Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
