He enjoyed a cocktail around a campfire with good friends. He was an avid coin collector. He was enamored with Native American Lore and wolves. Old Western movies were his favorite. He was a devoted communicant of St. John's Reformed Church in Upper Red Hook. George was a giving soul and an unforgettable, unique character who will live forever in the hearts of the people who knew him. He made many friends along the way with his friendly nature and generosity.

George is survived by his sweetheart, Helona Nealis-Puma of Kingston, his ex-wife Lorraine Timlin and her son Christopher Dugan of Kingston, cousins Julia Foster, Dan Schillinger (Vita) and Fred Schillinger (Anne) of Long Island. I´m so sorry that George has passed. I knew George for many years. He was a great guy. Very generous and kind. Many years ago I renovated my bathroom and George tiled the shower enclosure and the floor. He was a very talented craftsman. His tile work is to this day is spectacular. I will miss him very much. RIP buddy
