Lisa Ann Poteralski, 58, wife of late Robert Poteralski of Albany NY, passed away at Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.
Born June 14, 1967, in Schenectady, New York, was the daughter of the late Richard and Catherine Nelson.
Lisa attended Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School and was a devoted wife and mother. Her passion, positivity and joy shined through in her various hobbies including baking, shopping, knitting, and talking with friends and family on the phone.
She is survived by her son Johnathan Poteralski of Scotia, NY, her brother Richard Nelson of Burnt Hills, NY, her sisters Cindy Nelson of Ballston Spa, NY and Nicole (Jeremy) Jones of Galway, NY. She is also survived by her niece Kali-Aline (Jason) Saville and her nephews Zachary Nelson, Jason Nappi and Kyle Nappi along with two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
In addition to her husband Robert, she was predeceased by her parents Richard and Catherine Nelson.
A private celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026. A donation in her name may be made to: Epilepsy Foundation Northeastern New York, 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205.
