East Providence – Lisa A. (Durand) Roach, 61, of Rumford, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Shawn V. Roach for twenty-four loving years. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Normand and Rose (McPherson) Durand.
Lisa worked for many years as a caretaker in the medical field and was very dedicated to her work.
She will be lovingly remembered as an amazing woman, who could accomplish anything she set out to do. Lisa was an excellent cook and loving caretaker, she left lasting impressions on all whose lives she had touched over the past sixty-one years, and those that knew her were all the better for having Lisa in their lives.
Besides her loving husband, Lisa leaves her beloved daughter, Brooke L. Amaral of Lincoln; two cherished grandchildren, Parker and Ariya Amaral; a sister, Denise DaCosta and her husband, David, of Pawtucket; two brothers, Erik Schweitzer in Utah, and Jason Durand in Arizona; her loving in-laws, Barbara and Louis Roach of Pawtucket, and several nieces and nephews.
According to Lisa's wishes services are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the RISPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket, RI. TrippFuneralHome.com
