Lisa White Sciple, 60, passed away in Noxubee County, Mississippi, on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Visitation will be Sunday, August 25 from 5 p. m. until 7 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 26 at Concord Baptist Church in Macon, Mississippi, with Reverend Sean Greer officiating. The family will also receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service in Salem Cemetery.
Lisa was born in Macon on December 23, 1963, to Lamar and Dean Holdiness White. She was an active member of Concord Baptist Church in Macon. Lisa's hobbies included woodworking and sewing. Lisa dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed watching them participate in their various activities. She had an outgoing personality and as a result, she never met a stranger.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jimmy Sciple; and her children: Brent Sciple of Blue Mountain, Mississippi; Bridget (Daniel) Moore; and Brody Sciple all of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being "Maw" to her four grandchildren: Addison Moore, Allie Moore, Austin Moore, and Asher Moore. She is also survived by her siblings: Mickey (Deborah) White, Beverly Clark, Holly (Daryl) Rigdon, and Shannon (Jessi) White; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Alice Coleman.
Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Clark, Brock Clark, Cody Rigdon, Zack White, Dustin White, Christopher Sciple, Lee James, and Dustin Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Bo Tarlton and Kyle Vernon. Donations in honor of Lisa may be given to Massey Funeral Home or to the GoFundMe account on Facebook to help with funeral expenses or to Salem Cemetery Fund, c/o Bro. Ethan Ewing, 21 Elkin Court, Macon, MS 39341.
Services are under the direction of Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by signing the guest register at www.nowellmasseyfuneralhome.com.
