Chip Sciple, a native of Newton County, passed away surrounded by loved ones. He devoted most of his working life to the construction industry, earning a reputation as a "jack of all trades" for his ability to tackle any task that came his way. Chip found joy in his work, but his true passions lay in fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Sciple Frazier (Danyl), Bernece Sciple, Brittany Khader (Zack), and Bethany Swartz (Gabriel); his grandchildren, Sammy Khader, Alia Khader, and Kinsley Frazier; his mother, Kathy Shelby; grandmother, Elaine Hailey; sister, Kandi Mitchell; brother, Shannon Sciple; aunt, Martha Ross; uncle, Tony Hailey (Gail); a host of nieces, nephews and friends; and his special friend, Sara Ward.
Chip will be deeply missed by all who knew him and whose lives he touched. His warm spirit and loving nature will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
