Funeral services for William Andrew Stewart will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Mack Alford officiating. Burial will follow in Henry’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 from 4 until 8 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart, 46, of Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Andy was born to Jeff and Norma Stewart. He was raised in Neshoba County and was a graduate of Neshoba Central class of 1997. Andy was a well-known musician around the area and performed in several bands. He enjoyed watching wrestling, playing several instruments including the guitar and piano, playing video games with his nephew, Zach and loved his momma cat, Kitty. He was one of the most kind and tenderhearted people you would ever meet and was loved by all and will be missed. Mr. Stewart was a member of Henry’s Chapel Church.
Survivors include his mother, Norma Byrd (Ben); father, Jeff Stewart (Dee Dee); step-father, Frederick Grant; grandmother, Teresa Grant; sisters, Sarah Tubby (Colby), Emily Stewart (Corey); brothers, Chris Stewart (Audie), Josh Myers and Nick Stewart; aunt, Aunt Bee (Ricky); uncle, Dwight Akins (Faye); several special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and their families.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by grandparents, Crawley and Waudine Akins, John and Shirley Stewart and John Dale Grant.
Pallbearers: Jared Posey, Shane Johnson, Jackie Dunn, Jason Thrash, David Coats and Nick Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearer; Frederick Grant.
