Willie Beth Wells Clayton, 92, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 5 at Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater, Mississippi, with Bro. Tom Bentley officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the church from 1 p.m. until service time. A graveside service and interment will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7 at Memory Hill Cemetery in Bartlett, Tennessee. Beth was born May 29, 1933, to Henry Wesley Wells and Margaret Smith Wells in Winston County, Mississippi. She was a member of Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater. Beth is survived by her daughter, Vicki (Wayne) Goudy of Oxford, Mississippi, and her son, William Andrew (Melissa) Clayton, Jr. of Germantown, Tennessee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mallory (Andrew) Parks and Evan (Amy) Goudy; and her four great-grandchildren: James Parks, Harrison Parks, Katherine Parks, and Claire Elise Goudy. She also leaves behind four siblings: Faith Estes of Louisville, Mississippi, Linda Harper of Springfield, Missouri, Ruth Gunter of Mobile, Alabama, and Larry Well of Noxapater; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Beth was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Glenn W. Wells and her sister, Ann Yarbrough. Services are under the direction of Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
