Lisa Marie Shepard, age 60, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on February 4, 1966, in Grand Rapids.

Lisa was a devoted employee of Home Depot for many years, where she was known not only for her strong work ethic, but for her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others. She made a lasting impact on coworkers and customers alike, always offering a listening ear, short prayer, an encouraging word, or a bright smile for anyone that may need it.

Over the last 19 months, Lisa battled cancer with unwavering faith. Even in the midst of her own suffering, she never missed an opportunity to share God’s love with nurses, doctors, friends, and strangers she met. Her testimony of hope and steadfast trust in the Lord touched countless lives and will continue to inspire all who knew her.

One of Lisa’s greatest joys was her time with her family. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Larry Shepard. She leaves behind her children: Allen, and his daughters Averie, Sophia, and Cecilia; Carrie and her husband Dan, along with their children Aaron and Lainey; and Bradley and his wife Ariana. She also cherished and loved Larry’s children like her own: Stephanie and Jason Stegehuis and their children Jayme, Makenzie, Aryanna and her daughter Everlee, Kylie, Cayden, Jaxson, and Derek and Nichole Shepard and their son Spencer; Jeremy Shepard and his son King; Reece Shepard; and Alyssa and Zee Shepard and their son Noah.

She is also survived by her brother Anthony and his wife Polly and their children Myla, Lydia, and Louis; and her brother Richard Morey. Lisa’s sister, Renee and her husband Randy Chapman and their children Rachel, Rieley, and Raegen.

Above all, Lisa loved her family deeply. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Aunt, and friend, and her greatest joy was time spent with those she loved. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lisa now rejoices in Heaven and will be reunited with loved ones who went before her, resting in the eternal peace and presence of her Savior.
