Lisa Ann Smith, a beloved resident of Jonesboro, passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on July 1, 1969, in Dowagiac, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Linda Wimberley.
A dedicated homemaker and Christian, Lisa's life was a testament to her loving and selfless nature. She had a heart of gold, always eager to help those in need, and she found great joy in caring for her friends and family. Lisa loved driving and her world revolved around her family, whom she adored deeply.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; her sister-in-law, Becky; her brother-in-law, Bubber; her nephew, Little Stevie; and her niece Erica Nicole Crawford.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her husband, Ronnie "Pops" Crawford; her sons, Randy Eric Smith, Ronnie James Crawford (Tiffany), Joshua Dewayne Newton, Hank Allen Crawford, and Clifton Dean Newton; her brothers, Michael, Steven, and Randy Wimberley; her sisters, Tina Crossno and Patricia Chailland; her daughter-in-law, Lacrisha Russel; her 22 treasured grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 26 at Emerson Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Lisa's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her unwavering kindness, dedication to her family, and compassionate spirit will be remembered and cherished by all.
