Lisa Summer Stafford, 60, of Portland, TN passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at High Point Sumner Regional in Gallatin, TN. The Gallatin, TN native was a housekeeper, former employee of Lawn Lite and Dollar General and attended Trinity Faith Church. She was a daughter of the late Glen Douglas Anderson and Betty Jane Thaxton and wife of the late Lester Curtis Summer.
She is survived by 1 son: David Leon Summer (Tracy), Westmoreland, TN;
2 daughters: April Summer (Shane), Portland, TN and Crystal Summer, Lafayette, TN;
2 brothers: Gary Finn (Cheryl), Westmoreland, TN and Johnny Anderson, Gallatin, TN;
2 sisters: Debbie Anderson, Gallatin, TN and Janine Simpson (Justin), Bethpage, TN;
An aunt: Carrie Jo Thaxton, Bethpage, TN;
15 grandchildren: Rollin Thunder Summer, Destiny Tomlinson, Ashley Humphrey, Daisy Humphrey, Sabrina Humphrey, Aligha Humphrey, Caleb Summer, Salynia Summer, Jesse Summer, May-May Summer, Kaydence Summer, Chloe Cauley, Pey-Pey Baines, Liam Summer and Adam Copeland;
9 great grandchildren;
3 nieces: Amanda Lee Simpson, Phyllia Danielle Whittamore and Mary Ann Thompson;
2 nephews: Michael Wayne Simpson and Gary Dewayne Finn II.
She was preceded in death by a son: Curtis Summer and 2 sisters: Vickie Jean Finn and Nora Jean Finn.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Bro. Odell Summer officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
