Lisa L. Stricklin, 58, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice in Hazard, Kentucky, at the age of 58. Born on January 17, 1967, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to the late Henry and Syble Burkett-Stricklin, Lisa was a person who embraced life with a warm spirit and a loving heart.
She is survived by her cherished children, Taylor Caldwell and Chris Stricklin, as well as her adored grandchildren, Brayden Caldwell, Benjamin Conn, and Lillian Conn. Lisa also leaves behind her sisters, Pamela Watkins and Carolyn Stricklin, and her nephews, Brandon Case, Ray Watkins, and Kalen Watkins. Her niece, Jennifer Jarvis, holds a special place in the family's memories as well.
Lisa was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Stricklin, whose memory will remain a guiding presence in the lives of her loved ones.
Visitation will begin on Thursday July 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM for the public, the funeral service to honor Lisa's life will take place at 6:00 PM, at Lucas & Son Funeral Home, with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating.
Lisa's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, love, and the joy she brought to family gatherings. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the stories and laughter shared by her family and friends.
