It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Marie (Lepre) Taylor, 59, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She passed peacefully with her loving family by her side, her devoted sons, Samuel and Luke, holding her hands.
Lisa was born in
Providence, Rhode Island, on April 13, 1966. She spent her early childhood in North Providence before moving to Conway, New Hampshire, in 1979. She graduated from Kennett High School in 1984 and went on to pursue her passion for art at the Portland School of Art, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design in 1988.
She began her professional career at ABB Environmental in Portland, Maine, in 1988. In 1990, she moved to Taunton, Massachusetts, to continue her career with The Boston Globe. Lisa later joined Price Waterhouse Cooper, where she began as a Senior Designer and ultimately became an Operations Manager. Over her remarkable 28-year tenure, she earned countless design awards and the admiration of colleagues and clients alike. In the midst of her many professional achievements, she also created a lifetime of cherished memories.
In the winter of 1988, Lisa met David Taylor, who was a regular at the restaurant where she worked. Their love story blossomed, and they were married in 1993 in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Together, they purchased their first home in
West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, where they began building their family and a life filled with love.
Lisa was a kind and considerate soul who touched countless lives. Her radiant smile brought light to every room she entered, and her gentle, welcoming demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She treasured her abundant and enduring friendships. Lisa loved to travel, but her heart was always drawn to the Midcoast of Maine, where she spent countless summers surrounded by family and friends. To know Lisa was to love her, and she will never be forgotten.
She held a deeply rooted love for all things flora and fauna, especially birds, reflecting the free spirit that carried her gracefully through life's highs and lows. No matter the circumstance, Lisa approached life with positivity and strength. Nowhere was that strength more evident than in her courageous 16-year battle with cancer. Through it all, she remained steadfast in her love for her husband, her two selfless sons, and the creative career that meant so much to her.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, David W. Taylor of Bridgewater, Massachusetts; her sons, Samuel W. Taylor and his girlfriend, Riley Wesolowski, of Brooklyn, New York, and Luke E. Taylor and his girlfriend, Ella Weishaar, of Pelham, New Hampshire; her parents, Peter E. Lepre, Sr. and Cynthia M. (Yates) Lepre of Boynton Beach, Florida; her siblings, Jennifer M. Collins and her husband, Matt, of Sanbornville, New Hampshire; Peter E. Lepre Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Corvallis, Oregon; Rachel M. Losinno and her husband, Joel, of Cinnaminson, New Jersey; and Jacquelyn Gagne and her husband, Steven, of Conway, New Hampshire; her brother-in-law, Gregg Taylor and his wife, Terri, of Mar Vista, California; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Gaven and Grace Gagne, Andrew Losinno, Wendy and Owen Lepre, and Joseph, Benji Taylor and step mother Nancy Taylor of Easton, Mass. Lisa's family also extends out to many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private service will be held for immediate family. In keeping with Lisa's wishes, family and friends will gather at one of her favorite places at a later date to celebrate her beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, her family encourages donations in her name to the
American Cancer Society.
