Lisa Ann York, nee Kadish, of O'Fallon, IL, passed away peacefully at Barnes Hospital on May 5th, 2025, with her loved ones by her side. Lisa was born in December 1963 in San Francisco, CA. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, an incredibly accomplished businesswoman, and a kind and caring friend who will be missed by many. Lisa loved her savior, Jesus Christ, and she lived her life in a way that always reflected Christ's love.

Lisa attended the University of Maine, graduating in 1985. After graduation, she moved to St. Louis, MO for her first job at Brown Shoe company where her life would change in ways she could not imagine. She met Michael at a business networking meeting and was lucky that he did not leave when she showed up late for their first date to a Cardinals game. Lisa and Michael married at the Missouri Botanical Garden in 1990. They ultimately settled in O'Fallon, Il where they would raise their three children, Jessica, Aaron, and Jacob.

Lisa loved to spend time with her husband and children, always having her 'fun lamp' turned on by finding every event she could attend with the people she loved. She enjoyed travelling, both in the United States and internationally. She worked very hard to successfully run her business – her true passion to help small businesses in every single way. She was an active member in her BNI group, fulfilling her role as president and continually leading her chapter and winning various awards along the way, her competitive spirit always shining through. She also loved being a member at St. Matthew church where she played violin in the orchestra and worshiped every Sunday. She always had a smile on her face, even as she faced an incredibly difficult cancer battle in the last year of her life. Her impact on other people's lives will never be forgotten as she was an incredible person who will be missed by many people.
