Lloyd Appel Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 3:00 pm under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Father Bernard Papania will officiate the services.
A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a retired warehouse worker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Appel and Anastasia Pine Appel; siblings, June (Russell) Hall, John "Red" Appel; Andrew Appel, and Dorothy "Dottie" (Joe) Fernandez.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of nearly 60 devoted years, Lena A. Tumminello Appel; daughter, Lisa A. Appel; son, Lloyd Appel Jr.; grandson, Roman Alexander Appel; sister-in-law, Jackie Appel; numerous nieces and nephews.
