Lloyd Bishop Obituary
68, of Indianapolis, passed away October 23, 2023. Lloyd was born in Grant, Nebraska on December 15, 1954 to the late Robert and Donna Bishop. He was raised on a wheat farm and learned the value of hard work. Lloyd excelled in sports in high school and found success in life through dedication and determination.
Lloyd married the love of his life, Patricia "Tricia" Bishop in 1981 and the two built a life together in ministry and family. The Bishops served the Lord, and followed His call from Canada to Oklahoma and finally Indiana.
Lloyd later worked in management and residential window cleaning while his two sons went through school. His greatest joy was being involved in his sons' lives working heartily as unto the Lord. His life was solidly built on the truth of God's Word. Lloyd's love for God, his wife and sons, and his family superseded all else.
Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife, Tricia; sons, Andrew and Ryan (Leah); four very special siblings, Jim (Carol) Bishop; Gaylord (Genie) Bishop; Russell (Claire) Bishop and Sue (Calvin) McCormick; and many wonderful surviving nephews and nieces and grandnephews and grandnieces.
Visitation will be held at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Saturday, October 28th from 10 AM – 1 PM with a service at 11 AM. To view the livestream, click here.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Foundation, 1702 W. 16th Street, Indianapolis IN 46202 or fairhavenfoundation.org.

Craig and I just heard of Lloyd´s passing. He washed our windows and was a kind and thoughtful man. We are shocked and sadden to hear he is gone. What a loss for your family.

Lloyd and I graduated in the same class in High School at Grant, Ne. He also worked for us during his time at home during the summer in between years at college. I think Lloyd always stopped to see me whenever he was back to his hometown at Grant and I will miss talking to him whenever he came or visits on the phone between those times. Lloyd leaves behind a great family and legacy of his values and work ethic. We will get to see each other again as fellow believers in heaven. God Bless my friend !
