Lloyd Albert Correll was born August 16, 1930, to Prentice and Olga (Evers) Correll in Mapleton Township, ND. On October 25, 1952, Lloyd married Beverly Aadland in Moorhead and they had three sons, Terry, Steve and Faron. Lloyd and Bev built a home in Oakport Township in 1959, where they lived until moving into River Pointe, Moorhead. Lloyd sold his business, Correll Construction, and retired in 1993.
Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at their lake home on Pelican Lake and playing music. He was a talented musician (guitar and vocals) and was active in local bands for over 60 years. Lloyd played with Lorraine’s Dance Band for 25 years and then formed the Country Auggies Band with bandmates, Jerry Stange and Larry Johnson.
Lloyd is survived by his three sons, Terry (Karen), Steve (Barbara), and Faron (Helen); grandchildren Andy (Cara), Stefanie (Josh) Noffsinger, Robyn (Ryan) Carlyle, Katherine (Ike) Anderson, Lauren (Bradley) Hollers, John, Aaron (CC), and Amy (Omar) Diaz; great-grandchildren Allyssa, Avery, Caleb (Angie) and Jade Correll, Jacklynn, Mason, and Logan Noffsinger, Rosie and Graham Carlyle, Leland Hollers, Rhys Hollers, and Arya Correll; and great-great-grandchild, Enzo Correll.
