Lloyd Richard "Rick" Resweber passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. He was born in Bastrop, LA on January 1, 1943.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Robin Resweber; his sister Valleau Caruthers; his children, Ashley Doczy (Paul) and Stephanie Becker (John); grandchildren, Aiden and Jack Doczy, Sean, Kaitlyn and Kylie Becker; Step-children, Robin Yawn Molina, Steve and Cliff Yawn and their children, Madeline, Lauren and Ethan Yawn, Andrew Yawn and Jessica Molina.
He was preceded in death by his parents Corrine Barras Resweber and Lloyd P. Resweber.
Rick spent his career as a chemical engineer with Shell travelling the world for business and pleasure with Maxine making many friendships.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Resweber may be made to Manning Family Children's Hospital in New Orleans to the Leeman Fund https://www.manningchildrens.org.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Peter Catholic Church, 195 E. 19th Avenue, Covington LA 70433 on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey.
