One never knows when the end will be. He was my husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, a brother-in-law, an uncle and a really good friend to many. He was taken from his family way too early.
Lloyd Dale Simpson, Age 68 of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born to Billy N. and Ophelia J. Whitecotton Simpson in Nocona, TX, he resided in Upper Chichester, PA for the past 23 years, previously residing in West Chester, PA. He graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1973 and was Lead Expeditor and Shipping Manager for 27 years prior to retiring in 2021. Lloyd enjoyed reading, cooking, grilling and watching sports and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He liked going to casinos and playing cards. Lloyd valued time spent with his family especially playing baseball with his grandsons. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lori Martens Simpson, son, Joshua (Justin Lieb), daughter, Jesica Simpson, three grandsons, Seth Lauder, Dylan Lauder, and Elijah Simpson, two brothers, Randy (Debra) Simpson, and Terry (Tashia) Simpson. Lloyd had a friendly welcoming smile and took a genuine interest in everyone he spoke with. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Life Celebration at 3 PM.
