Lloyd Threeton

Lloyd Threeton of Springfield, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 78.

Lloyd is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Carrie Foster (Aaron); son & daughter-in-law, Lloyd "Perry" Threeton, Jr. (Mary); grandchildren, Mindy Monistere (Jeff), Ron Foster, Matthew Foster, Taylor Threeton, Travis Threeton, Morgan Kutej; great-grandchild, Charleigh "Ellen Baby" Monistere; business partner and nephew Lennie Threeton; and numerous other nieces and nephews; close friends, Jr. Coates, Mardis Landry, Frank Kluka and Lenny Miller and his extended family at Threeton Farms.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris Ellen Beyl Threeton; parents, Opal Todd Threeton and W.W. "Bill" Threeton; brothers, Willie Wesley "Skipper" Threeton, Jr. and Leonard "Nubby" Threeton and niece Megan Threeton.

Lloyd was a lifetime resident of Springfield. He was a proud third generation strawberry farmer with a passion for growing things. He had several cattle who had pet names with a story behind their name that he would gladly share. He was a loyal Community Coffee drinker who carried a thermos of hot coffee everywhere he went. Everywhere. He had a huge personality and would tell you exactly what he was thinking with no filters. He was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 11:00 am. until services begin at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Louisiana.
