Lloyd E. Ulmer, 82, of Millersville, passed away on January 29, 2026.
He was the husband of Sharon “Sherry” A. McCulley Ulmer, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage this past July 6th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Janet Aston Ulmer.
Lloyd had worked as a pipefitter for Armstrong World Industries for 36 years. After his retirement, as he loved the game of golf, he worked as a marshal at Tanglewood Golf Course.
He played softball in local church leagues and was a big sports fan especially of the Philadelphia Eagles, but his greatest enjoyment was coaching youth football and baseball for 10 years for Manor Ridge, coaching his son when he played. He loved to spend time with his four grandsons.
In addition to his wife, Sherry, he is survived by his children: John E. married to Lisa Ulmer of Downingtown, and Krisi A. married to Joe Ditmer of Lancaster; his grandsons Derek Ulmer (his fiancée Caroline), Ryan Ulmer, Adam Ditmer, and Alex Ditmer; his siblings Terry Hollingsworth and Lisa Louderback; and his sister-in-law Carol Heine.
Friends will be received by Lloyd’s family from 10-11AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private.
