Margaret "Peggy" Morahan

Margaret "Peggy" Morahan, 68, of Lake Twp., Wayne county died Friday February 13, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville following an illness. She is the wife of William "Bill" Morahan.

Born December 29, 1957 in Fort Bragg, NC, she was the daughter of Caroline (Slota) King and the late Ralph King. Peggy was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Nicholson.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her sister Vicki Fenton and husband Mark of Nicholson; her sister-In-laws: Mary Morahan of Norristown, PA, and Maureen Vetty of Lancaster, PA; her nieces and nephews: Randi Fenton, Brian Veety, Christopher Veety, Elizabeth Kosarev, Sarah Evans, and Anthony Rettura. She is also survived by her dear cousin Mary Ann Bernadini.

Peggy was preceded in death by her brother Johnny Welby, her uncle Frank Slota, and her sister-In-law Margaret Rettura and husband John Rettura.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church Street, Moscow, PA.

Interment and rite of committal will be conducted privately at Fairview Memorial Park.
