Ronald C. Aston, 77, of Spring Brook Twp. passed away Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026, at Regional Hospital of Scranton shortly after admission. His wife of 56 years is the former Karen A. Cordes.

Born January 14, 1949 in Spring Brook Twp. he was the son of the late George and Ella (Carey) Aston. Ronald was a graduate of North Pocono High School. Prior to his retirement, Ronald was owner and operator of Aston Hauling and Lumber Company. He was a member of the Spring Brook Congregational United Church of Christ.

Ronald was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend. He was dedicated to his profession, and will be dearly missed by the logging community.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son Gregory Aston of Spring Brook Twp. ; his brother George R. Aston III of Spring Brook Twp.; his sisters Joan DeMarco of Spring Brook Twp. and Dorothy Andreskew of Spring Brook Twp.; his beloved niece Danielle Forbb of Virginia; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Timinski.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spring Brook Congregational U.C.C.

Friends may call on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church Street, Moscow, PA.

Interment and committal prayers will be conducted at Spring Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
