Loel Marie Collier, 83, of Jonesboro, entered her heavenly home peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center.
Loel was born September 2, 1942, in Pollard, AR, to the late George and Era Mae Crews Kemper. She was a high school graduate who completed college and earned a degree as a licensed practical nurse. She was very proud to be a nurse and serve those around her who needed it the most.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joyel Roy “Pete” Collier; Son, Joel Raymond Collier; 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina (James) Harris of Jonesboro, her Grandsons, Josh (Stephanie) Harris of Harrisburg, Caleb (Kari) Harris of Bono, and Travis (Tori) Harris of Paragould, and seven Great-Grandchildren: Colton, Lorraine, Elijah, Everett, Millie, Abby, and one anticipated in May. Also survived by one sister, Mary Anne Duplechin, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Larry Rogers and Hal Collier officiating. All services will be held at McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, AR.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Josh Harris, Caleb Harris, Travis Harris, and Colton Harris.
